Just like gold needs to be refined from original ore, or sugar refined from sugar-cane, our hydroponic nutrient is refined from mineral bearing rock.
Production of wheatgrass at Sunlight Juice (Aust) is carried out in hygenic conditions in a controlled environment. In our 400 sq metre cold room, which is kept at a constant temperature of 18-19º C. Our wheatgrass is grown indoors year round ensuring complete control over moulds and other pests. Food grade plastic troughs are used instead of soil and sterilized after each batch. Our staff follow strict food processing guidelines to bring you the cleanest product possible. We monitor the pH and EC of the water used to feed the plants. A large benefit of being positioned in country Queensland means that the water used to grow the wheatgrass is pure rainwater.
